Enlivened only by a bit of sporadic sparring with Good Friend in PR, I have spent the last six hours manually transferring my old blog (“Gabbler”) from its iWeb home to the new, shinier, but shittier named surroundings of WordPress, where I shall publish as Eiljert – and a shiny apple to the thousands of you who can spot the theme…
iWeb has caused me to fall out of love with Apple – not something that I ever thought would happen, but the eternal crashing of the system has been something of a bore – and now that I am free of it, I feel like a newly liberated divorcee (though perhaps less likely to go an get myself a daring new haircut, or to begin every sentence with “As a woman…”).
Tomorrow sees me in a workshop all day, wrestling with issues of great might and moment for Mighty Client. The venue is the Holiday Inn in Heathrow, so I’m understandably anxious to get there early and just bask in the atmosphere…
