You get a lot of weather for your money in Singapore.
Anyone looking to squeeze maximum weather variety enjoyment solutions out of one location could do no better than Singapore (presuming that Ireland is on half-day closing). We had radiant sunshine with a humidity topping during the day, a storm last night (lots of windy pops), ominous cloudwork at breakfast, and as I type, on my “Oh so beautiful that I shall have to be restrained from trying to create it in the grey light of London W4″ veranda, it is absolutely fucking throwing it down in one of those apocalyptic, end of the world type scenarios that are always rendered that little bit more dramatic, thanks to the addition of swaying, bending, almost kneelingĀ palm trees.
Anyway, I am due to present to a captive (ie: trapped in a Conference Room) audience of our global best and brightest in half an hour, so I had better toddle off and prepare some utterly spontaneous asides, and work on my tolerant-and-interested face, which I understand from colleagues, needs all the work that I can put into it.
